I love using Clorox wipes. They are an easy way to sanitize my kitchen or bathroom without breaking out the spray bottle and rags. But after buying so many canisters, I'm looking for a cheaper alternative that will get the job done. I found this idea on Pinterest that only requires two ingredients that I have already have in my home.
What you will need:
2 packs of Handiwipes that come in four- these here are amazing and reusable. You can get many uses out of these before having to buy new ones.
1 cup of water
1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol
2 Tbsp. Dawn dish soap (only use Dawn)
A container to store your reusable Clorox wipes. I repurposed a formula container.
Open up your handiwipes and cut them into four sections.
As you can see in this picture, two packages makes a crap-ton.
Mix together your liquid ingredients and pour over your handiwipes in a large bowl. make sure they are soaked in the formula.
Prep your container you are reusing and start folding them and placing them in. Any leftover liquids I poured on the top after I was done folding
You can make a nice label for your container or just sharpie it like I have. I wash my wipes normally with my towels. When I'm low, I take the wipes that I have washed and remake my formula for the next batch of Clorox wipes!
