Looking for another way meal to cook with your leftover salmon you baked last night? This salmon patties recipe is amazing to utilize your leftovers for a frugal and fast meal that is ready in fifteen minutes.
What you will need:
15 oz of salmon. If you are not using leftover baked salmon. Canned salmon is good as well.
1 cup of panko bread crumbs
½ cup of all-purpose flour
1 small onion diced
½ cup of milk
1 tablespoon of Cajun / creole seasoning
Shred your salmon and remove any bones. Add remaining ingredients (excluding the vegetable oil) and mix thoroughly.
In a large pan, add about an inch or two of vegetable oil and turn it up on medium heat.
Roll a small ball of the mixture in your hand and flatten to make your patty. Should be around the size of the palm of your hand.
Fry patties until golden brown about 3-5 minutes each side.
This recipe will make around 8-10 patties.
